The annual Friends of the Library book sale will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Stop by early for the best selection.  Thank you to everyone who donated books to the sale. We appreciate your support.

School age children can sign up for Camp Wonderopolis online at Wonderopolis.org.  Camp Wonderopolis combines the excitement of summer camp with the joy and pride in achievement – all completely free. When you register as a Camper (kids of all ages) or a Counselor (parents or teachers), you will be able to select your own avatar, follow your own path through six tracks of scientific exploration, and engage in Wonder lessons and test your learning to earn Wonder Cards. The Allen County Public Library received a grant to offer six special programs.  Space is limited. We are targeting children 13 and older. Special programs will start on Wednesday,  June 18. Sign up today by calling 237-3861. We’ll offer a light meal (such as pizza) with each program.

The library offers over 75,000 digital e-books and over 18,000 audio books that you can download directly to your computer or electronic device. The digital collection also includes over 10,000 video downloadable units, and don’t forget the library subscribes 39 digital magazines (past months issues are also available). Check out our website at www.allencountylibrary.com and take advantage of items that may be checked out and downloaded for FREE with your library card.
