Library News for May 16, 2018

It’s almost time for our annual Friends of Library Book Sale which will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 1st and 2nd from 9:00 am – 4:00.  Stop by early for the best selections.  If you have gently used books gathering dust, we hope you’ll consider donating them to the sale.

Preschool children are invited to Story Hour on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Homeschool Enrichment programs are offered on Tuesdays at 1:00, and Toddler Time is Thursdays at 10:00 am. Saturday at 1:00 pm we offer Crafternoon for all school age children. Don’t wear your best clothes for Crafternoon because we are sure to make a mess.We hope you make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.

On Saturday, May 19 at 11:00 am, school-age children are invited to Lego My Library.  Ms. Abby has a vertical build challenge prepared.  We can’t wait to see the results of the creative sparks flying as participants see their vision take shape.

On Thursday, May 17 at 5:00 pm, teens are invited to DIY Bath Bombs, and the following week, teens will be creating crafts from clay. It’s not too late to join the Teen Book Club.  This month teens will be reading and discussing The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Stop by the circulation desk to pick up a copy of the book. The teen book club will meet on Thursday, May 31 at 5:00 pm.
