SUMMARY:Pre-School Story Hour
DESCRIPTION:Pre-K story hour is for children 3-5 years old and takes place every Tuesday @ 10AM. \nThis program will help your child with kindergarten readiness\, practicing skills that they will use in the classroom. \nWelcome to the library! \nThis week\, Mrs. Amanda wants to get to know you and your child.  Children will be asked to recite and write their first and last name.  It’s good to go ahead and practice their address\, birthdate and phone number.  It’s OK if they don’t know everything yet.  We are just getting a jump start for questions they will need to know for their kindergarten screening. \nChildren will create a self portrait\, using materials that will help them make a model of themselves.  By picking out the right skin tones\, colors for hair\, markers for details\, etc.\, they will learn to describe themselves in more fun and creative ways. \nWe can’t wait to learn with you! \n
