SUMMARY:Summer Reading: Water Safety with Bobber the Water Safety Dog
DESCRIPTION:Join us July 14th @1:00 as Bobber the Water Safety Dog and the Barren County Corps of Engineers teach you and your child the importance of water safety. \nBobber the Water Safety Dog invites kids to visit his water safety website to paws and play games\, color\, watch cartoons\, and learn about the importance of wearing a life jacket! \nBobber the Water Safety Dog wants kids to have fun learning about water safety at www.bobber.info. (USACE graphic)\nThe lovable water safety mascot for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers National Water Safety Campaign makes appearances with Corps park rangers across the nation at marinas\, lake recreation areas\, schools\, youth events\, and even outdoors stores to spread the water safety message. \nBobber sports a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket.  Unfortunately\, recent data barks out the need for the public to copy the water safety dog and wear a life jacket to help keep them safe while recreating on the water. \nRegistration is encouraged for this FREE event. Those that have already registered for summer reading are reminded to keep up with what you are reading in your reading log. \nAlso\, a free lunch for children ages 18 and under will be served from 11:30 – 12:30 (before the program).
