Allen County Public Library News for November 26, 2025

The library will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, for Thanksgiving. Stop by early to stock up on books, movies, and music for the holiday weekend.

Unless it’s a holiday, the library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Our digital library never closes. You can download free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Download the Libby and Hoopla apps to access our digital materials. There are thousands of items to choose from.

The library offers over six hundred free online courses in the following areas of study: accounting, alternative medicine, crafts & hobbies, business, career training, computer training, entrepreneurship, finance, health & medicine, homeschooling, language arts, law/legal/criminal, office skills, parenting & family, personal development, psychology, science, self-help, special education, spiritual studies, teacher resources, test preparation and writing skills. Join Mrs. Claus for stories and more on Friday, December 5 at 6:00 pm on the front porch of the library for First Friday. Children ages five and under will receive a free book and kindergarten readiness materials.

Allen County Public Library News – November 12, 2025

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Parents/guardians may choose from two Pre-K Story Hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 a.m. On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., Home-School children ages 5-12 are invited to enrichment programs.
