Kid’s will want to sign up for The Polar Express. Come to the library on December 15 at 5:00 pm. Mrs. Amanda has planned special games and crafts. Of course we’ll also read The Polar Express. Don’t be late. You don’t want to miss the train.
Our regular story hour for pre-school children is offered on Tuesday at 10:00 and Toddler Time meets on Thursday at 10:00 am. School age children are welcome to attend enrichment programs on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. The Cool Kids Book Club meets on Wednesday’s at 1:00 pm. We hope you’ll make visiting the library with your child a part of your weekly routine.
The library offers homework help through a new service called “Tutor.com.” Library patrons have access to on-demand, one-to-one Academic and Career Tutoring from 4:00 pm – 11:00 am, seven days per week. All you need is a library card. Tutor.com covers 25+ subject areas, including AP/IB, Spanish language support and Test-Prep. Library patrons have access to over 77,000 digital items (books, movies or music). You can download these to your computer, e-reader, smart phone, or other digital device. Go to www.allencountylibary.com and click on digital books.

To borrow books, movies or music from the library, simply get a library card. Library cards are free. You need a photo I.D. and a recently postmarked piece of mail.
