Library News for October 24, 2018

Our weekly programs for children include: Baby Time on Wednesdays at 2:00 pm. Toddlers Time is on Thursdays at 10:00 am, Stories & More for pre-school children meet on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, and enrichment programs for homeschool youth meet on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm. We hope you’ll make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.

If you want to learn how to knit to crochet, Loose Ends will teach you. Stop by the library on Tuesdays at 3:30.  First time crafters will be supplied with a crochet hook, or knitting needles and yarn to start.

On Monday, October 29 at  5:00 pm, join us for Creepy Movie night.  Light refreshments will be served.

On Wednesday, October 31 at 10:00 am, pre-school and home-school children are invited to dress in costume for the Halloween Parade as we visit downtown merchants for tricks or treats.

Library News for October 17, 2018

On Saturday, October 20, at 11:00 am,school-age kids are invited to Lego my library. Ms. Abby will have a fun build challenge ready for the builders.

On  Thursday, October 18 at 5:00 pm, teens will make Zombie Brain Slime.  Call 270-237-3861 to register for this free program as space is limited.

The Trick-or-Treat parade is scheduled for Friday, October 26 at 10:00 am.  Kids will visit the downtown merchants dressed in Halloween costumes.  Children must be accompanied by an adult caretaker to participate in the parade. We’ll gather in front of the library at 9:55 for a picture, so don’t be late.
