Library News February 4, 2026

We want to congratulate Shelia Stovall on her recent retirement.  Scottsville and Allen County have greatly improved thanks to her unwavering service in providing resources to this community.  As the new Library Director, I will make sure to keep treading in the footsteps she has set.  The future is bright for the library, thanks to the groundwork that has been established.

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our digital library never closes. You can download free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Download the Libby and Hoopla apps to access our digital materials. There are thousands of items to choose from.
