Allen County Public Library – News for March 25, 2026

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but the fun doesn’t stop when the doors close! Our digital library is available 24/7, giving you access to free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows anytime with an active library card. Simply download the Libby and Hoopla apps to explore thousands of titles right from your phone or tablet.

We also have plenty happening inside the library each week. Toddlers can enjoy stories, songs, and fun activities during Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Preschoolers and their parents or guardians are invited to Pre-K Story Hour, offered twice each week on Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 a.m., with the same program available on both days.

Homeschool students ages 5–12 are welcome to join us on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. for enrichment programs filled with learning and creativity. Students ages 10–12 can also take part in The In-Betweens, which meets on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. It’s a great opportunity for kids to learn new things, make friends, and have fun at the library. Allen County Public Library – News for March 18, 2025

The library continues to be a hub for learning, creativity, and connection in our community. The library is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and patrons can also enjoy the convenience of the digital library, which is available 24/7. With an active library card, you can download free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows by using the Libby and Hoopla apps. Thousands of digital titles are available, making it easy to enjoy the library from home or on the go.

Families with young children will find plenty to enjoy at the library each week.
