Allen County Public Library – News for April 29, 2026

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our digital library is available 24/7, giving patrons access to free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Simply download the Libby and Hoopla apps to explore thousands of titles anytime.

Children and families preparing for kindergarten are encouraged to join us for First Friday’s on the Scottsville Square with the Heart of Scottsville to “Learn as You Grow” on Friday, May 1 at 6PM.   Kits valued at over $50 will be dispersed to eligible participants thanks to a grant with the Regional Collaborative of Allen, Logan, and Simpson Counties through the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.

Toddler Time: Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. for stories, songs, and fun activities.
Pre-K Story Hour: Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. (same program offered both days).
Homeschool Enrichment: Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. for students ages 5–12.
The In-Betweens: Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. for students ages 10–12.
