Unearth Your Story – Summer Reading 2026

We have already had a wonderful time celebrating reading and our amazing community this summer, and there is still plenty of time to join the fun! Register for Summer Reading and discover all the exciting programs and activities your library has to offer.

Teens can create a dragon eye sculpture with Ms. Abby on Monday, June 15, at 1:00 p.m. Children and families are invited to meet author Nathan Landrum on Tuesday, June 16, at 1:00 p.m. as he shares his writing journey and creative adventures. Adults can join Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Chelsea on June 16 at 5:00 p.m. to create unique soaps featuring hidden treasures inside.

Summer Reading is here! This year’s theme, Unearth Your Story, invites children, teens, and adults to dig a little deeper into all the library has to offer through exciting programs, great reads, and fun surprises. Registration is now open. Sign up today by visiting our website at www.allencountylibrary.com and clicking the Summer Reading 2026 link to get started. All are welcome to register in person at the library.
