Library News for April 11, 2018

The Library will be closed on Thursday, April 12, as library staff members will be attending required training in Bowling Green.  We must stay up-to-date with the newest technologies and library service if we want to be the very best at what we do. Our mission is to serve Allen County’s need to know.

There will be a free flower arranging class on Wednesday, April 11 at 5:00 pm. Join us as Harris Overholt helps us create wonderful arrangements. Supplies will be provide.

On Thursday, April 19 at 5:00 pm, teens are invited Edible Art. Participants will test their artistic abilities in creating masterpieces with various food items.  Prizes will be awarded to the artist of the most creative, most tempting, and most popular creations.  Registration is required for this free program.

Preschool children are invited to Story Hour on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Homeschool Enrichment programs are offered on Tuesdays at 1:00, and Toddler Time is Thursdays at 10:00 am. Saturday at 1:00 pm we offer Crafternoon for all school age children. Don’t wear your best clothes for Crafternoon because we are sure to make a mess.We hope you make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.

Loose Ends will teach you to knit or crochet. Crafters meet every Tuesday at 3:30. Supplies are provided for beginners.

Adults are invited to Chair Yoga on Wednesday’s at 2:00 pm.
