Library News for October 11, 2023

The library building is open to the public on Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

If you’d like to learn to knit or crochet, join us for Strings ‘n Things on Wednesdays at 2:30. We’ll provide new participants with a starter kit. All you need to do is register for the program under our events tab and show up.

Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Parents/guardians may choose from two Pre-K Story Hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and  Thursday at 10:00 am. Call 270-237-3861 to reserve your child’s place, or click on the events tab @ www.allencountylibrary.com. The Inbetweens, students ages 10-12, meet on Mondays at 3:30 pm. We hope you’ll make visiting the library a part of your weekly routine.

School-age children are invited to Lego-My-Library on Saturday, October 21 at 11:00 am. Miss Abby will have a fun build challenger for the builders. Register for this free event under the event tab @ www.allencountylibrary.com

To get a free library card, call 270-237-3861 or stop by the library with a photo I.D. and a recently postmarked piece of mail. Then, you’ll be able to check out or download library materials. Also, please let us know if there’s a particular book, movie, or music artist you would like added to the collection. We’ll do our best to fulfill your requests.
