Library News for September 12, 2018

Our weekly programs for children include: Baby Time on Wednesdays at 2:00 pm. Toddlers Time is on Thursdays at 10:00 am, Stories & More for pre-school children meet on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, and enrichment programs for homeschool youth meet on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm. We hope you’ll make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.

If you want to learn how to knit or crochet, Loose Ends will teach you. Stop by the library on Tuesdays at 3:30.  First time crafters will be supplied with a crochet hook, or knitting needles and yarn.

On Thursday, September 20 at 5:00 pm, teens are invited to Minute to Win  It. We’ll have a variety of one-minute challengs.  Register today by calling 270-237-3861. Candy prizes will be awarded the winners.

This month, the teen book club is reading Incarceron by Catherine Fisher. Copies are available at the circulation desk.  The teen book club will meet on Thursday, September 27 at 5:00 pm to talk about it.  Snacks will be provided.

On Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 am, the Scottsville Art Guild is offering a free Cardmaking Workshop.  The program is free but space is limited so please call 270-237-3861 to register today.
