Library News for September 21

Preschool children can attend Story Hour on Tuesday at 10:00 am and Saturday’s at 1:00 pm. Toddler Time is Thursday at 10:00 am. We hope you make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.

SAdobeStock_94192789eptember is National Library Card Sign-Up Month. To celebrate, we’re going to have a drawing for a new E-reader. New patrons who sign up during the month of September are eligible to participate. Stop by the library with a photo I.D. and a recently postmarked piece of mail to get your free library card.

Fall Break is full of great programs for kids of all ages. On Monday, October 3 at 10:00 am, we have a Youth Painting Class for students up to 12 years of age. At 2:00 pm on Monday, we’ll have a Teen Painting Class. On Wednesday, October 5th at 1:00 pm we’ll decorate pumkins with Ms. Pam (kids of all ages), on Thursday, October6 at 5:00 pm we’ll have a Perler Beads Craft for teens, and on Friday, October 7 at 1:00 pm we’ll have “Fear Factor” with Ms. Dee for tweens & teens. All programs are free, but space is limited. Call 270-237-3861 to register.
