The library building is open to the public on Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 am. Parents may choose from three Pre-K Story Hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and  Thursday at 10:00 am and on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. Call 270-237-3861 to reserve your child’s place. We will read the same book in each program. On Tuesday at 1:00 pm, Home-School children ages 5-12 are invited to enrichment programs.

On Monday, October 3, kids are invited to our Drive-In @ the Library. We’ll decorate cars made from boxes and then drive to the story hour room to watch an animated Disney movie featuring a unique red automobile. We will decorate our cars at 4:00 pm. Snacks will be served at 4:45 pm. The movie will begin at 5:00 pm.

If you are homebound, we are happy to make non-contact home deliveries. Call Ms. Delonda at 270-237-3861 if you need this service.

For First Friday, on October 7 at 6:00 pm, families are invited to dress up as their favorite book characters. Stop by the Library’s porch and have your picture made. We’ll award winners in each age group. Representatives from the Heart of Scottsville will vote on their favorites. The first 10 book characters to stop by will be given a pumpkin.
