Allen County Public Library – News for March 11, 2026

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our digital library is available 24/7. You can download free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Download the Libby and Hoopla apps to access our digital materials. There are thousands of items to choose from.

Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Parents/guardians may choose from two Pre-K Story Hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 a.m. On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., Home-School children ages 5-12 are invited to enrichment programs. The In-Betweens, students ages 10-12, meet on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. Call 270-237-3861 to reserve your child’s spot, or click on the Events tab at www.allencountylibrary.com. The library offers over six hundred free online courses in the following areas of study: accounting, alternative medicine, crafts & hobbies, business, career training, computer training, entrepreneurship, finance, health & medicine, homeschooling, language arts, law/legal/criminal, office skills, parenting & family, personal development, psychology, science, self-help, special education, spiritual studies, teacher resources, test preparation and writing skills.
