Allen County Public Library – News for September 30, 2026

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Mini-Library at Cedar Springs # 1 also operates during regular business hours.  Our digital library is available 24/7, giving patrons access to free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Simply download the Libby and Hoopla apps to explore thousands of titles anytime.

We are excited and eager to partner once again with the Allen County Historical Society for the infamous Graveline Tours.  This guided, historic lantern tour will highlight figures from our community that had a part in the Revolutionary War and will take place at Scottsville’s Old City Cemetery.  Tours begin at the library at 5:30PM on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3.  The Allen County Historical Society will be taking admission in the lobby of the library.  Tickets for adults are $10.00 and children 12 and under are $5.00.  All proceeds go to the Allen County Historical Society.
