Allen County Public Library – News for May 20, 2026

The library welcomes visitors Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Can’t make it in person? Our digital library is open 24/7, offering free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Simply download the Libby and Hoopla apps to enjoy thousands of titles anytime, anywhere.


Summer Reading registration for all ages begins online May 24, 2026. Visit our website and click the Summer Reading 2026 link to complete the appropriate registration form. In-person registration begins Tuesday, May 26 at 9:00 a.m. at the library.

Registration continues throughout the summer, with a special Summer Reading Kick-Off on Friday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m. Families can enjoy activities, prizes, and plenty of fun as we begin a season full of stories and discovery. We can’t wait to unearth stories with you all summer long.
