The library building is open to the public Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Tinker Time in our Maker Space is open every Friday at 2:00 pm. Register online for help with your projects, or stop by to explore the space and ask questions. Equipment includes a Poster Printer, Embroider Machine, Cricut Vinyl Cutter, and more. Sign up today.
Stop by and check out our library of things, which includes a pottable sewing machine, electric drill, specialty baking pans, ukelele, and more. There’s something for everyone at the Allen County Public Library.
Our annual Friends of the Library book sale will take place in September. If you have gently used books gathering dust, please consider donating them to the library. We can’t have a book sale without books. We appreciate the community support.
On Friday, August 2 at 6:00 pm, join us for First Friday on the porch. The theme is Patriot Pride and we’ll be showing off items made in our maker space. Drop by to make something that shows your support of our Patriots. Thanks to United Way, we be passing out 100 kits for early childhood development during the First Friday event. If you have an infant or toddler, stop by early to grab a bag while supplies last.
