Allen County Public Library News November 15, 2023

The library building is open to the public on Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. – to 7:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – to 4:00 p.m.

The library will close at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, and be closed for Thanksgiving on November 23. The library will be OPEN on Friday and Saturday, November 24-25, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Parents/guardians may choose from two Pre-K Story Hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and  Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Call 270-237-3861 to reserve your child’s place, or click on the events tab @ On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., Home-School children ages 5-12 are invited to enrichment programs. The Inbetweens, students ages 10-12, meet on Mondays at 3:30 p.m. We hope you’ll make visiting the library a part of your weekly routine.

All school-age children are invited to Lego My Library on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Ms. Abby will have a fun build challenge ready for the builders. Pre-registration is required for this free program.

To get a free library card, call 270-237-3861 or stop by the library with a photo I.D. and a recently postmarked piece of mail. Then, you’ll be able to check out or download library materials. Also, please let us know if there’s a particular book, movie, or music artist you would like added to the collection. We’ll do our best to fulfill your requests.
