Library News for January 31, 2018

The Allen County Public Library is an affiliate partner of the South Central Kentucky Workforce Development Board. Due to this partnership, each Monday, the library receives an updated list of jobs available locally and in our region. We also have staff trained to help you in your job search. Just stop by the circulation desk for more information.

On Wednesday, January 31 at 2:00 pm, Ms. Chelsea is introducing chair yoga. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing, using a chair for support.

Loose Ends will teach you to knit or crochet. Crafters meet every Tuesday at 3:30. Supplies are provided for beginners.

Teens are invited to the Perler Bead Club on Thursday, February 1st at 5:00 pm. Create unique artwork with fusable beads.  All supplies are provided.

Preschool children are invited to Story Hour on Tuesdays at 10:00 am and Saturdays at 1:00 pm. Toddler Time is Thursdays at 10:00 am. School enrichment programs for home-schooled students are held on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm. We hope you make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.
