The library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th for Independence Day. We’ll be open on Monday, July 3 from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm so stop by and pick up extra books, movies, and music for the holiday.
Summer Reading registration for Build a Better World is underway. Stop by the library to register your child to participate in fun, interactive programs. There are too many events scheduled to list them all, but each child who turns in a reading log by July 25 will win a prize thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library. Kids who read the most will get to shop first at the Prize Store we’re building.
Sign up for Buggy Book Club. Kids will receive a buggy prize each time they visit the library this summer. (Only one prize per day). Last year, the Allen County Primary students won a day of inflatables for their school because so many kids visited the library during summer break. It will be exciting to see which school has the most kids visit over the summer. Which Allen County School do you think will win?
On Thursday, June 29, at 5:00 pm, school age children can join the Summer Science Club and build a rocket.This is a free program, but you must pre-register to attend.
