Library News for October 11, 2017

Preschool children are invited to Story Hour on Tuesdays at 10:00 am and Saturdays at 1:00 pm. Toddler Time is Thursdays at 10:00 am. We hope you make visiting the library a part of your child’s weekly routine.

On Thursday, October 12, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, teens are invited to Harry Potter Triva Night. Teens will form teams and compete for prizes. Call 270-237-3861 to register your team.

Attention parents with kids who will enter kindergarten next year! On, Saturday, October 14, we’ll offer a kindergarten readiness program called Trick or Pete from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  You’ll learn what you child needs to know to be ready for kindergarten. Each child will also receive fun items that will help him/her  prepare for kindergarten.  Space is limited to 35 children, so call 270-237-3681 and register your child today.

The Allen County Historical Society will start the Graveline Tour at the library. Tours start at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, October 13 and 14.

Loose Ends will teach you to knit or crochet. Crafters meet every Tuesday at 3:30. Supplies are provided for beginners
