Library News for Wednesday, July 13, 2022

The library building is open to the public on Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

We need families with elementary-age children to participate in Prime Time Family Reading, a six-week reading, discussion and storytelling program that starts on Thursday, July 14, 2022. We’ll serve a light meal at 5:00 pm. and start the storytelling/discussion at 5:30 pm. Call 270-237-3861 to register your family today. Space is limited to ten families, and childcare will be provided for infants and toddlers after the meal. The Kentucky Humanities Council and the Allen County Public Library provided funds for this program.

On July 14 at 2:00 pm, teens are invited to make jellyfish lanterns as a part of our summer reading program, Oceans of Possibilities, and on Tuesday, July 21, kids 12 and under are invited to Barry Mitchell’s magic show at 1:00 pm.
