The library welcomes the community with convenient hours Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Patrons can also enjoy the library’s digital collection anytime, day or night. With an active library card, users have free access to e-books, audiobooks, and television shows through the Libby and Hoopla apps. Thousands of titles are available to explore from the comfort of home.
Summer Reading 2026
Summer Reading season is almost here, and this year’s exciting theme is “Unearth a Story.” Programs and activities for all ages will begin with the Summer Reading Kick-Off on Friday, June 5, during First Friday on the square with Heart of Scottsville. Registration opens May 24. Participants may sign up online by visiting the library website and clicking the Summer Reading link or by registering in person at the circulation desk. Library staff looks forward to celebrating a summer full of reading, learning, and fun with the community.
