Step into Learning with Pete the Cat

Step into Learning with Pete the Cat

If your child is entering Kindergarten this fall and you want to learn how to prepare him/her for success, join us with your child for Step Into Learning with Pete the Cat on Saturday, March 18 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.  This is a free program, but space is limited to fifty children. Call 270-237-3861 or stop by the circulation desk to register. Parents will learn what kids are expected to know when entering school. Fun activities will help you evaluate your child’s learning needs. Activities for older and younger siblings will be available during the program time.  Participants in this Kindergarten readiness program will receive a backpack filled with learning games, books, school supplies and more. Bring your camera if  you want your child to have his picture made with Pete the Cat.  Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the Kentucky  Governor’s Office of Early Childhood, The Allen County Cooperative Extension Office, and the Allen County Public Library.
