Allen County Public Library – News for June 3, 2026

The library is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our digital library is available 24/7, giving patrons access to free e-books, audiobooks, and television shows with an active library card. Simply download the Libby and Hoopla apps to explore thousands of titles anytime.

Summer Reading is here! This year’s theme, Unearth Your Story, invites children, teens, and adults to dig a little deeper into all the library has to offer through exciting programs, great reads, and fun surprises. Registration is now open. Sign up today by visiting our website at www.allencountylibrary.com and clicking the Summer Reading 2026 link to get started. All are welcome to register in person at the library.

We will kick off the season on June 5 at 6:00 p.m. in conjunction with The Heart’s First Fridays on the Square. We look forward to meeting and greeting everyone this summer. For a complete list of Summer Reading programs, visit the Events tab on our website.
