The library building is open to the public on Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. – to 7:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – to 4:00 p.m.
Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Parents/guardians may choose from two Pre-K story hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Call 270-237-3861 to reserve your child’s place, or click on the events tab @ www.allencountylibrary.com. On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., Home-School children ages 5-12 are invited to enrichment programs. The Inbetweens, students ages 10-12, meet on Mondays at 3:30 p.m. We hope you’ll make visiting the library with your children a part of your weekly routine.
On Saturday, May 11, at 10:00 am, the Scottsville Art Guild is offering an occasion card-making workshop for children ages 6-12 at the library. Register under the events tab @ www.allencountylibrary.com. We appreciate the partnership with the Scottsville Art Guild.
