Allen County Public Library News – October 23, 2024

The library building is open to the public Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. – to 7:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – to 4:00 p.m.

Pre-school children are invited to participate in our Trick or Treat Parade on Friday, October 25th at 10:00 am. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Scottsville Police Department will assist us as we visit merchants and we want to thank them and the downtown merchants participating. You make us Scottsville Proud.

Toddlers are invited to Toddler Time on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Parents/guardians may choose from two Pre-K Story Hours for their preschool-age child. We’ll offer the same program on Tuesday and  Thursday at 10:00 a.m. On Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., Home-School children ages 5-12 are invited to enrichment programs. The Inbetweens, students ages 10-12, meet on Mondays at 3:30 p.m. Call 270-237-3861 to reserve your child’s place, or click on the events tab @ www.allencountylibrary.com.We hope you’ll make visiting the library a part of your weekly routine.

Tinker Time in our Maker Space is open every Friday at 2:00 pm. Register online for help with your projects, or stop by to explore the space and ask questions. Equipment includes a Poster Printer, Embroidery Machine, Cricut Vinyl Cutter, Ellison Die Cut Shapes, and more. Sign up today.

Once you have your card, a world of books, movies, and music will be at your fingertips. And remember, your voice matters.
